Dorothea Shields is a Bible teacher, speaker, and author who has spent more than two decades helping women fall more deeply in love with God and His Word. She has a gift for making Scripture simple, relatable, and alive — whether she’s teaching from a stage, writing a Bible study, or mentoring women one-on-one.

 

When she’s not teaching or writing, you might find her on a cruise somewhere, ordering hot chocolate for the whipped cream, or tending to her ever-growing collection of plants she unintentionally acquired. She lives in the Dallas, Texas area with her husband, and is a proud mom and Mimi.
